Over the weekend, I went to the shooting range.
The weather was pretty chilly, but it's always good to train in all types of conditions.
I brought only a handgun to the range this time, my trusty Smith & Wesson (M&P) compact.
Of course, I also brought my range bag, and I thought I'd share some of the gear I bring with me when I go shooting.
In no particular order, here's what you'll find in my bag:
-Electronic hearing muffs (I have a few pairs made by Pro Ears and Peltor)
-Shooting glasses (several pairs, some by Oakley and some no-name brands)
-Multi-tool
-First aid kit consisting of a tourniquet, QuikClot, gauze, chest seal, and plenty of bandages
-Stopwatch
-Gun oil---- https://syntheticoilus.com/index.php?zo=6322600
-Foam earplugs to have as backup hearing protection
-Sharpie markers to score targets
-Fixed blade knife
-Pair of pliers
-Competition timer (the Pocket Pro II)
-Small gun cleaning kit
-Spare batteries for my electronic hearing
-Ammunition
-Extra magazines for my pistol
And that's pretty much it.
It might sound like a lot, but my range bag isn't that big and doesn't weigh that much.
Train Safe -
